Layer chair

It’s a chair that lives all the seasons of a human being’s life. The structure is covered by various layers representing the “ ages of the chair”.  

User can remove layers in an irreversible way, showing the hidden layers, representing Birth, Childhood, Adolescence, Marriage age, Middle age, Old age, until discovering the mirroring “soul” which stays unchangeable in time.Collaboration with Ultimi for Salone satellite 2004.
